Dr Trudie Walters is a Senior Lecturer at Te Whare Wānaka o Aoraki/Lincoln University.  She now has almost a decade of events research behind her,  much of it focused on understanding how and why events work (or don’t work), and finding ways to improve the social outcomes for event audiences and organisers alike.
